Roleplaying Policy

Within the United States Marine Corps we permit roleplaying through the Hotel. This can be categorized into any groups that do not have anything to do with military organizations. It needs to be an official organization with a respectable cause. You are prohibited, from joining any trolling, raiding or hate groups directed to any organization on Habbo Hotel. This military must come first. This meaning that you don't go roleplay when you are the only one with active rights in HQ, or if you are a Drill Instructor/Drill Sergeant and there are no other Drill Instructors/Drill Sergeants within the HQ. If you are in a MOS, your MOS commitment must come first. If someone has not met their weekly quota, MOS Commanding Officers have every right to ban individuals from participating in a roleplay. The President or the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff reserve the right to ban roleplays if it is presented that is having a negative affect on this military. You are still liable for your actions within that roleplay. If you are caught committing any infractions you will be punished the same way you would be punished if you were commiting these infractions within any USN rooms and all of their affiliate.

Personnel Relationship's Policy

The United States Marine Corps does not take responsibility for your personal relationships so long as it does not effect the integrity and operations of this military. It is required that you treat every person fairly and with respect, and discernibly abide by the following policies on personnel relationships.

FRATERNIZATION POLICY
The United States Marine Corps prohibits romantic relationships between soldiers or sailors in different rank groupings to maintain good order and discipline, as well as in an effort to avoid a conflict of interest. It also prohibits personnel in relationships from serving as a superior of the other within a billet. The effects of inappropriate rank relationships include:

Compromising the integrity of the chain of command and holds an adverse impact on discipline and authority.
Potential portrayal of unfairness and/or use for personal gain.

Exceptions to this policy include:

Relationships that predate the effective date of this policy
Situations in which the acceptable rank relationship would move into non-compliance due to a rank promotion, so long as the relationship began before said promotion. (Need approval from CMC)
Personal relationships outside habbo/online.

FAMILY POLICY
All siblings (brothers, sisters, cousins, grandmothers, etc.) are required to announce their relationship to the CMC AND ACMC. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary actions. You must send a PM to the CMC AND ACMC informing of your habbo name, your relative's habbo name and whether or not you live together. You must also do this if there is ANY CHANCE you might have the same IP. For example having a friend that registers on your computer.

PROMOTIONS

The promotion scale is used to see the range that an officer can promote to. It also displays what ranks an officer can demote.

Promotion Scale
SMMC ---------------------------------W-1
O-1 --------------------------------- E-6
O-2 --------------------------------- E-7
O-3 --------------------------------- E-9
O-4 --------------------------------- W-1
O-5 --------------------------------- W-4
O-6 --------------------------------- O-1
O-7 --------------------------------- O-2
O-8 --------------------------------- O-3
O-9 --------------------------------- O-4
O-10 --------------------------------- O-5
HQMC --------------------------------- +1
ACMC--------------------------------- O-9
CMC --------------------------------- O-10

This range is subject to change at any given point without notice, it reflects the promotional and demotional ranges of officers at the USMC.

The promotion method here is the officer may just do it private or call out an Attention and call the marine to report. After doing so the officer would give the new motto and possibly a new uniform depending on the rank given.

Officer's may only promote when personnel have reached the appropriate minimum time in grade.

HQMC get +1 meaning if one is 2 and is part of the HQMC, instead of having an E-6 promotion range, one is added to make it E-7.

Time in Grade
Flag Grade ---------------------- 4 Months (Minimum)
Field Grade ---------------------- 3 Months (Minimum)
Company Grade ---------------------- 2 Months (Minimum)
Warrant Officers ---------------------- 1 Month
Senior Non-Commissioned Officers ---------------------- 20 Days
Non-Commissioned Officers ---------------------- 16 Days
Enlisted ---------------------- 8 Days

Special Promotional Policies

Only the CMC/ACMC may promote to 2ndLt as rights must be given.

Only Billet Officers may promote personnel within their MOS.

When at E-4 YOU must be in a MOS in order to advance to the next paygrade. In order to advance in any other paygrade above you are required to join a MOS.

When a E-1 receives two or more MOS Training tags that E-1 should be automatically promoted to the rank of E-2 regardless of their enlistment date by the trainer of that AIT.

All E-3s must have received Sentry Training from their promoting officer before being promoted.

DEMOTIONS

Demotions are used as disciplinary action in the U.S Army. Demotions are used as the last resort. The following policy dictates proper actions:

E-1:
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Dishonorable Discharge

E-2+:
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Temporary Demotion
3rd Offense: Permanent Demotion
4th Offense: Dishonorable Discharge

Certain offenses may bypass the system. Officer's may only demote within their range. They may also only demote within their branch.

DISCHARGES

To be discharged, is to longer be a part of active service within the USMC.

Honorable Discharges

To receive an honorable discharge, must be at least the rank of E-3, and post a resignation thread on the resignation board. A service person must also leave honorably to receive an honorable discharge. This means you can't leave to avoid a disciplinary action.

Personnel may only join back if they:

Have been gone for over a month.
Have not done actions harmful to the USMC or its allies.
Have not joined an enemy military.
Have not been labeled as NEVER REHIRE

In order for personnel to be eligible for an Honorable Discharge, the person must post a resignation on the appropriate board for their own resignation. Personnel are not allowed to post a resignation for someone else, unless there is a physical inability to do so (i.e. not registered on the forums, not appropriately masked). All personnel who have a resignation posted through a friend will receive a Dishonorable Discharge in lieu of the requested Honorable Discharge. Similarly, all personnel posting for another will face consequences in accordance with the demotion policy.

Dishonorable Discharges

There are many reasons to receive a dishonorable discharge, but any personnel that have been, are not allowed back. Officer's may dishonorably discharge any personnel within their range with sufficient reason.

DESERTERS

Personnel of the pay grades E-1 - E-5 are labeled as deserters if they are absent from Habbo and/or the forums for five or more days without taking leave or light duty. Personnel of the pay grades E-6+ are labeled as deserters if they are absent from Habbo and/or the forums for ten or more days without taking leave or light duty. Deserters may return at a one rank demotion.

United States Department of Defense
Retirement and Resignation Policy

Retiring or Resigning is the official discharge or dismissal of active duty within the United States Navy. The choice of leaving the USN should be yours and only yours. If you have resigned from the United States Marine Corps and decided to come back, you must wait at least one month and not join any other organization to regain your rank back fully. If you come back before one month or join another organization prior to the one month length, you will not be reinstated to your full rank and may be refused the right to be reinstated. If time is of your concern, the following options are available and recommended:

DD FORMS
Upon request for a retirement/resignation you will receive one of two forms. The first form is a DD 214 Form. This is to acknowledge you and granting you permission to be an Honorably Discharged Sailors. The DD 214 Form can only be given by the Commandant of the Marine Corps. If your request for a retirement/resignation is denied you will receive a DD 293 Form. If it is denied it is likely because you were just demoted and/or you are avoiding a dishonorable discharge. Upon receiving a DD 293 Form you will be listed as a Dishonorably Discharged Sailor or Soldier and will not be permitted access to be reinstated without CMC/ACMC approval.

Suggestions / READ BEFORE POSTING
« Last post by marines on January 16, 2014, 07:36:46 pm »
All suggestions must have a Poll on it in order to be a suggestion. If it does not have a poll than the thread will be deleted.
Please make sure your suggestion has the following:

Poll.
- Polite suggestion to United States Army.
   - 3-5 sentences about the idea.
    - Productive (Prons).
    - Contrary - (Cons).
    - Include atleast 3 reasons on Prons & Cons.

On your thread, many will post. It is important that you do not take it personally. They are stating opinions on the suggestion, not you. It is also your job to understand that not everyone will agree with your idea. If you see a post that you think is a better idea, work with it.

Your poll will remain up for five days after posted and will have the verdict the next day.
