Reserves
Those Marines who cannot make a full commitment to the United States Marine Corps but still wish to be a Marine may join the United States Marine Corps Reserves. In order to join the Reserves you must contact the ACMC, and DIRHROM with a PM (see below for formatting). The Reserves allows you to have minimal activity but still be able to be a Marine without having to take an Honorable Discharge. Listed below are the duties of a Marine on Reserves:
Log into the forum and read all important bulletins three times a week.
Not able to join a MOS.
You will get NO PROMOTION while in Reserves. Your PROMOTION TIME will be increased to count for your duration of Reserves.
Cannot be a General.
Cannot be a SEL rank.
Cannot be under the rank of Cpl.
